About ACT University
ACT University exists to expand access to high-quality online education in behavior analysis. Our approach emphasizes clear outcomes, ethical practice, and measurable impact in real settings. Programs are designed around practical learning, instructor interaction in 16-week terms, and straightforward student support. While behavior analysis is our core focus, related study areas such as supports for a person with autism are addressed where appropriate. This page outlines our mission, core values, leadership, and regulatory status.
Mission
ACT University advances rigorous, human-centered education in behavior analysis. We prepare professionals who pair evidence with empathy, communicate clearly with families and teams, and improve everyday outcomes in schools, clinics, and communities. Our promise is practical learning, ethical practice, and results you can see and measure.
Vision
A trusted online university where behavior analysis turns evidence into action, instruction feels personal, and graduates lead with skill and conscience. We aim to be known for accessible, outcomes-driven programs that improve support for individuals, including a person with autism and their families.
Core values
Every decision starts with learning, wellbeing, and outcomes. We design clear paths, timely feedback, and real support.
We use the best available research and data, delivered with care, cultural humility, and respect for lived experience.
We recognize neurological differences as part of human diversity and teach strategies that build dignity, autonomy, and belonging.
Cost, schedule, disability, geography, and background should not block opportunity. We build flexible online experiences and remove barriers.
Honest communication, transparent policies, and responsible stewardship. We hold ourselves to what we publish and measure what we claim.
Clear outcomes, active learning, and regular instructor interaction. We commit to high-quality online instruction and authentic assessment.
Families, schools, clinics, and service agencies are partners. We listen, co-create, and improve together.
We set goals, gather evidence, act on feedback, and share results. Progress is expected, documented, and public.
We guard learner and client information with care, following both the spirit and the letter of the law and policies.
We develop practitioners who can analyze, communicate, mentor, and lead ethically in diverse settings.
